Technology Expectations

Technology Expectations

Technology Expectations in Mrs. Castelli’s class room here at Crull.
Students were asked to define the rules for using technology safely here at Crull Elementary School. We have a technology rich culture where taking the time to have students define expectations helps to establish digitally responsible students.

It is important to take time to define expectations for students. But, more powerful to have students define their own “norms” for operating in a technology rich classroom.

Where I think there is room to grow… The violations. I wonder if technology should be taken away since it is a learning tool. Would we say take away a pencil if a student was making poor choices?
